We are hiring substitute teachers in Harrisburg School District. No previous experience is required! Remember that educator who made a difference in your life? Now it's your turn! Substituting is an excellent opportunity to be a mentor and help students become the best versions of themselves. Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day. Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher or relief teacher.

Pay Rates: - Daily Substitute: $200 per day
- Building Substitute: $225 per day
- Long-Term Substitute: $250 per day (May be responsible for creating lesson plans, attending school meetings, and communicating with parent/guardians)
- Daily Substitute Retired Teacher: $275 per day
- Long-Term Substitute Retired Teacher: $300 per day

Responsibilities: - Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
- Build a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
- For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
