Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is growing! We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our dynamic SES Electrical (SEL) team, a subsidiary of BBCH.

We need a team player paving the way to a successful construction project. The ideal candidate is experienced working in the Federal construction industry and has exceptional leadership skills. We provide leadership opportunities which include management of multiple projects, staff, and nationwide estimating across locales and coordination with team members nationwide. This position will require the PM to be on-site during the construction of a multi-story renovation in Folsom, PA. Responsible for overseeing a variety of construction projects, including design-build and bid-build projects typically ranging from $2M to $15M, with the potential to manage up to $20M worth of projects simultaneously. 

This position is based in Folsom, PA.

Project Scope: Renovation of a 2-story Marine Recruit Facility including new roofing, site work, parameter fencing, reconfiguring, finishes, and MEPs.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000

Compensation:

$115,000 - $130,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide the cost estimate of the construction up front and accurately control the budget throughout the project
  • Communicate the status of the building project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports
  • Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code
  • Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
  • Clarify the scope with clients, engineers, construction managers, and architects to produce an accurate list of project specifications, including manual labor needs and necessary materials
  • Procurement of subcontractors, coordination, organization, and supervision of construction activities to ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and upholding high-quality standards and safety regulations
  • Analyze project RFPs and plans, collaborating with executives to define project objectives effectively
  • Efficiently oversee labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors within the allocated time and budget
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, field staff, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the evaluation and acquisition of subcontracts, labor, materials, and equipment
  • Supervise the project closely to promptly address out-of-scope work requests, unforeseen conditions, and time impacts
  • Work closely with superintendents, stakeholders, and team members to develop and revise project schedules
  • Develop and scrutinize project budgets and cost estimates meticulously
  • Invoicing
  • Review and execution of subcontracts and Purchase Orders
  • Manage the project from the proposal stage through closeout
  • Handle any issues that arise resulting from unforeseen conditions
  • Effectively manage and build teamwork within the project execution team
  • Manage subcontractors through project completion
  • Coordinate with Quality Control and Safety representatives
  • Direct project activities to ensure conformance to project budget, plans, specs, and schedule
  • Forecast project cash flow in relation to the project schedule
  • Track the financial performance of projects
  • Prepare project reports for management and clients
  • Interface with Client

Qualifications:
  • Construction or project management software experience is a significant plus
  • Completed training for OSHA 30 license
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus
  • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
  • Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or other similar fields
  • 15+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, construction, or a related field preferred
  • 5 – 10 years of Federal renovation and repair-type construction
  • Management of Design Build and Bid Build projects
  • Ability to help decipher and solve technical issues relating to construction
  • Strong customer service ability
  • Skilled in conflict resolution
  • Good understanding of legal processes
  • Able to maintain morale within the group and foster an environment of strong team spirit
  • Scheduling
  • Familiar with P6 Primavera
  • Experience/Proficient with RMS and the Quality Control Process

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
