McKesson Brands Sales Development Analyst:
The McKesson Brands Field Sales Team is seeking a highly motivated McKesson Brands Sales Development Analyst to join our team. As a McKesson Brands Sales Development Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving sales within the McKesson Brands suite of products by utilizing your expertise in data analysis. The ideal candidate should possess a high degree of experience in data analytics, data mining, data visualization, creative and strategic planning along with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerBI skills. The candidate should also be able to convert complex data sets into simple to understand, actionable reporting for our sales teams. The McKesson Brands Sales Development Analystmust be entrepreneurial, hardworking, inquisitive, diligent and passionate about delivering great customer and team experiences.
You will have specific project-based work centered around strategic initiatives such as specific category business growth (i.e. needles and syringes, lab, wound care, etc.), sub-market business growth (i.e. skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, home health agencies, etc.) and pricing analysis. You will also work closely with the McKesson Brands Field Sales team by working to understand the unique needs of the teams and geographies they support in order to deliver tailored target and initiative reporting.
Responsibilities:
o Develop an understanding of our McKesson Brands product and service offerings along with our competitive advantages
o Utilize internal and external data sources to create actionable sales initiatives for the McKesson Brands Field Sales team and other field sales teams
o Coordinate with key McKesson Brands stakeholders, such as category management, to supply data in order to make informed pricing decisions for the field
o Work cross functionally with marketing and other internal teams to supply actionable data in order to generate new McKesson Brands business
o Assist in developing strategies to target and close net new McKesson Brands business across different sales teams including Primary Care Sales, Extended Care Sales and our Enterprise Sales teams
Preferred Qualifications:
o 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
o Minimum of 3 years of related experience; preferably in the field of healthcare; with a proven track record of success against reporting deliverables
o Experience with primary care, extended care and/or government markets and customers
o Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel required
o Proficient with PowerBI preferred
o Proficiency with Sequel preferred
o Ability to take ownership, understand the needs of the field and deliver creative solutions
o Located remotely. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 10%. Valid driver’s license required.
