SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Highly skilled plumber with 5 years experience managing plumbing projects.

Technical Expertise in Plumbing Systems : Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and fittings.

Knowledge of Local Building Codes : Familiarity with local plumbing and building codes to ensure compliance in all work performed.

Problem-solving skills : Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective, efficient solutions.

Project Management : Can manage schedules, materials, and resources to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.

Attention to Detail : High level of precision in installing, repairing, and testing plumbing systems to ensure safety and functionality.

Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and stay organized in fast-paced environments.

Safety Awareness : Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

Customer Service Orientation : Ability to maintain professional interactions with clients, address concerns, and provide clear explanations of work being done.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

· Perform skilled plumbing work on residential remodel projects, ensuring all installations, repairs, and upgrades meet industry standards, project specifications, and local building codes.

· Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate and execute plumbing tasks efficiently, while maintaining professional communication with clients and team members.

· Ensure that all necessary tools and materials are available to meet project timelines and milestones.

· Conduct detailed inspections of plumbing systems and fixtures, identifying potential issues and offering proactive solutions to maintain project scope, quality, and schedule.

· Prepare and review change orders as needed.

· Lead the plumbing team to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality work on-site, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

· Participate in project meetings to provide input on plumbing-related aspects of the project, and work closely with the project team to address challenges and achieve project goals.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work site, ensuring that all installations are performed to the highest standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
