Join an outstanding multi-disciplinary team including an on-staff psychiatric team and licensed clinical staff. Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is an accredited NHSC facility.

The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Jr. Accountant Pay Range:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Salary: $51,413 – $64,263 DOE

Jr. Accountant Summary : Join our finance team as a Jr. Accountant and launch your accounting career in a dynamic and supportive environment! Reporting to the Controller, this entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to handle daily accounting and finance tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our agency. You'll process various accounting tasks, ensuring responsible use of agency resources while enhancing staff and client relations. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion are essential, as you'll be working with confidential information and adhering to GAAP, FASB, and federal, state, and local regulations. Jr. Accountant Education and Experience: Must meet the following qualifications:

Required

  • Combination of Associates Degree and two years accounting experience.

Preferred

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Two years of general ledger accounting

Jr. Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Assist with grant and state contract reporting
  • Create journal entries and support month-end processes, including reconciling accounts, recording deposits, credits, and debits, and balancing the general ledger
  • Manage inventory accounting
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, providing updates and addressing questions with an eye for detail
  • Participate in training opportunities for growth and development
