We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Install Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Lenexa, KS . The primary role of this position is to install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems under the supervision of a senior installer or supervisor. Required Skills & Experience High School Diploma or Vocational Training. At least 3 years of experience (ideally 5+ years) Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems. Familiarity with local/national codes. Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly. Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures in English. Nice to Have Skills & Experience ~ Any certifications related to experience. ~ OSHA 10 Cert. NICET Certified. Lift Cert or MEWP. Low voltage experience. Alarm License. ~5+ years of commercial experience with one of the following: fire alarms, alarms, radio, CCTV, security, cameras, or burglar systems. ~ Product knowledge of devices such as Honeywell, DMP, Bosch, Kityhoka , EST, or others. Perform system testing and signal verification. Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools). Conduct new system installations, upgrades, and additions. Organize and utilize technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient task execution. Exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Compensation: $25/hr to $30/hr. Duration: 6M Contract-To-Hire Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
