Job Summary –

We are looking for a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to join our team and support Personal Systems in the development and optimization of cutting-edge solutions. This role requires a deep technical understanding of FPGA technology and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, bridging the technical and business aspects of projects.

The ideal candidate is an expert in FPGA design, development, and verification and possesses strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. This individual will be instrumental in driving innovation, efficiency, and strategic decision-making in FPGA-related initiatives.

Technical Skills:

· FPGA Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement FPGA-based solutions for Personal Systems.

· RTL Coding & Verification: Develop efficient VHDL/Verilog code and perform rigorous verification using industry-standard tools.

· Performance Optimization: Enhance FPGA performance, power efficiency, and reliability for Personal Systems applications.

· Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions.

· Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on FPGA methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies.

· Cross-functional engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineering teams, business leaders, and customers, to align FPGA strategies with business objectives.

· Project Management: Drive FPGA development projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.

· Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance product performance and competitiveness.

· Extensive FPGA Experience: Proven track record in FPGA design, development, and optimization.

· Proficiency in RTL Design: Strong coding skills in VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.

· Verification & Simulation Tools: Hands-on experience with ModelSim, QuestaSim, or similar tools.

· Synthesis & Implementation: Expertise in Xilinx, Intel (Altera), or other leading FPGA platforms.

· High-Speed Interfaces: Experience with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or other high-speed communication protocols.

· Debugging & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools.

· Embedded Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with microcontrollers, SoCs, and firmware development is a plus.

· Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present technical concepts, collaborate with diverse teams, and influence decision-making.

· Leadership & Ownership: Self-driven, capable of leading initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering impactful solutions.
