Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Creative Director (ECD) who is an experienced and dynamic agency leader who drives the creative vision across the agency. The ECD builds and leads a team of creative directors, designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to imagine and deliver the highest quality work for clients. The ECD will engage and collaborate with key senior clients and stakeholders, champion the creative vision for clients, and then work with the team to bring it to life. Securing new opportunities for the agency, from both existing and new clients, is paramount to this role. This role will require ongoing travel to pitch new business and attend in-person client meetings.This is a remote work from home position with fulltime access to our downtown Seattle office.
What You’ll Do - Elevate and inspire creativity across the agency
- Remain current on emerging design trends and technologies—and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate new thinking into project work
- Lead creative growth opportunities for both existing and prospective clients by proactively presenting ideas and playing a key role in pitching and securing new business
- Persuade hesitant clients to embrace broader scopes of work than requested
- Attract, develop and retain top creative talent
- Foster a positive environment where continuous learning, growth, and belonging are central to the culture
- Mentor and lead the creative team by providing high-level concept guidance, tactical design coaching, and ongoing feedback to optimize the creative work
- Continually refine and improve our creative processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and quality
- Determine appropriate staffing approach and reporting structure in alignment with the day to day and ongoing needs of the business
- Champion and cultivate a culture of collaboration across teams and with clients
- Build strong relationships with partners who naturally extend our capabilities
What We’re Looking For - 10+ years of experience in a senior creative leadership role, preferably in a digital agency environment
- Strong ability to grow client relationships with outstanding presentation and pitching skills
- A proven track-record playing a key role in pitching and winning new business
- Expert design skills and a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital projects
- Advanced communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced understanding of digital design, UX/UI principles, marketing, and technology
- Extensive leadership, team management, and discipline development experience
What’s In It for You POP offers competitive compensation and full benefits. The starting salary for this role is between $185,000 and $235,000. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the Total Rewards we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description and located in Seattle. As a company, we have a location-based strategy, which means the salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location.
