Dental Hygienist Opportunity - Travel to Sites around Chicagoland Area

Job Summary

Provide direct dental hygiene services to patients under the supervision of a licensed dentist, ensuring high-quality oral care in accordance with established clinical policies and standards. Educate individuals and groups on oral health while maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral hygiene assessments and record findings.
• Deliver preventive care, treatment, and referrals.
• Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, sealant, and fluoride applications per professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
• Participate in policy development, quality assurance, and staff training.
• Assist with community outreach and oral health presentations.
• Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois with an unrestricted license and current CPR certification.
• Experience in a healthcare, dental clinic, or hospital setting preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and electronic health records.
• Ability to educate and motivate patients for optimal oral health.

• Dexterity in handling dental instruments safely.

Hours: Monday-Friday; Onsite 5 days a week; Normal Business Hours

Hourly Pay: $33/hr-$36.56/hr

Employment: Contract to hire - ~6 month (1,040 Hours) contracted probationary period into direct hire / permanent position

Experience: Must be licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of Illinois
