Class B CDL Driver

Oxford, PA

• Enjoy a local CDL driver position where you can be home every night
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule. No weekends!
• Drive a 20-foot refrigerated Freightliner box truck
• Load & unload eggs carefully to prevent damage
• Transport eggs from our vendor farms to the distribution center
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
• Communicate with the customers on delivery times
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintained
• Travel up to a 1 ½ hour radius around Oxford, up to 45 farms each week

Lapp's Specialty Eggs is a small, family-owned business that provides full-service egg production from local family farms. We are hiring a Class B CDL driver to provide exceptional customer service by picking eggs up from our local family farms with care and punctuality. We want a reliable, self-motivated, safety-conscious person with strong organizational and time management skills. If you have a Class B CDL license, know how to use a GPS, and understand delivery routes, please consider joining our tight-knit team.

Our Ideal Class B CDL Driver:

• Experienced: 1+ years of Class B CDL truck driving experience, familiarity with local delivery routes, and experience with lift gates and pallet jacks are preferred. Must be able to use a GPS.
• Clean Record: Has a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Independent: Able to accomplish tasks promptly without much supervision.
• Time Management: Self-motivated, comfortable taking the initiative, and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Organized: Can prioritize your work, coordinate delivery schedule, deliver eggs on time, etc.
• Reliable and Dependable:  We need teammates who show up on time and care about their work.
• Active: Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Safety-Conscious: Values and follows safe working practices . Be aware of your surroundings and use caution to protect your teammates, equipment, and our customers' properties.

What We Offer Our Class B CDL Driver:

• $25+/ hour
• Paid Holidays
