Duration:3 Months Contract

Seeking an enthusiastic, independent individual to join Client's Handmade team. Client's Handmade supports a community of artisans and makers, and our criteria is defined as items that are handmade, hand-designed, hand-altered, repurposed, or upcycled. This role will focus on creating various classification mappings and hierarchies to allow Handmade products to properly surface in Client's browse and search experiences. The role may also support broader business needs for Client's Handmade across seller and customer experiences. Qualified candidates will be independent, customer focused, highly analytical, detail-orientated, and diligent researchers who are interested in understanding how a large retail website is organized.

Business Group/Team Culture:

• Work in the handmade business for Client
• Community of makers (Handmade, hand altered, hand designed)
• Very special group of sellers within Client
• Handmade is a program that gets seller and marketing support
• Some technical components to the items (items are tagged in Client's catalogs)
• In process of improving how they are shown within the website
• Work is related to customer experience and seller potential for visibility on the site

Key Projects:

• Work will be within Handmade reclassification work
• ADHOC if needed and main project completes earlier than expected.
• To fill catalog work that is urgent for this year

Day to Day:

• Ensure products are populating as expected in categories on the Clients portal
• Catalog mapping: checking selection against their current category/subcategory mapping, and fixing if not correct (e.g., ensuring "women's necklace" is in the right category)
• WTS: review what customers see on Client’s portal
• Work with the Product Manager and Tech teams supporting Handmade

Interaction level with team:

• Communicating to product manager on team
• Monday staff meeting
• Wednesday weekly business review

Minimum Education:

• At least 1-2 years post-college

Degree’s/Cert Required:

• 4-year college degree (undergrad)

Resume Stand outs:

• Data entry / Catalog management
• Spreadsheet knowledge
• Excel knowledge (comfort with large/raw data sets)
• Client's Seller Central or Client's Selection Central experience (nice to have)
• SQL (nice to have)

Performance Indicators:

• Detail oriented – validating attribute mapping / making sure it is logical to customers when shopping
• Working with excel sheets/ onsite
• Good communication skills needed

Must Have Skills:

• Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivots, working with large/raw data sets)
• Analytical skills
• Business writing (comfort with writing SOPs, documenting findings/recommendations)
