If you are an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with at least 3 years of experience in the as an AR Manager or Lead, then American Pest has an exciting opportunity for you! You'll be responsible for leading and planning our billing and collections efforts on a daily basis, overseeing our Collections and Billing Specialists. You'll own the process start to finish so your previous experience will be vital to your success in the role. You'll be able to work a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week at our HQ in Fulton, MD and the remainder from home! What You'll Do... As the Accounts Receivable Manager with American Pest, our billing and collections efforts are yours to direct. You'll be in charge of leading and planning our collections strategy, creating and/or updating our procedures for our process of collections and contacting customers. You will also become the company expert in PestPac on orders, invoices, setups, renewals, payments, reverse payments, refunds, revenue reporting, account balances, account fixes, and resolving billing issues. Additionally, you'll work with Branch Managers and the Communication Center Manager on accounts receivable reports for review and write-off approval.
Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful AR Manager at American Pest? For starters, you'll have 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Lead. You'll also have...
+ 2- or 4-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
+ A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices
+ A strong understanding and functional application of MS Office Suite
+ Intermediate knowledge of Excel (multi-level sorting/filtering, working with pivot tables)
+ The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritize multiple tasks, and maximize performance while remaining customer-focused
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ The ability to quickly learn multiple web-based software programs necessary to the essential job functions and cross-department communications
+ Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
+ The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player
+ Concern for helping people and an aptitude for making people feel important and valued
+ The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
+ Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
